SRX6417689: Whole-genome resequencing of Periparus ater: 32_male_blood
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq X Ten) run: 62.5M spots, 18.7G bases, 6.9Gb downloads

Design: High-quality DNA samples were used to prepare genomic libraries with mean insert size of 350 bp according to manufacturers protocols, and were sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq X Ten machine to obtain 191 bp paired-end reads.

Study: Evolutionary adaptation of tits
show Abstracthide Abstract
Tits (Aves: Paridae), a passerine bird group, are originated in the Sino-Himalayan region, and widely distribute in Eurasia, tropical Africa, and North America. A highly disproportionate number of tits inhabits high-altitude ranges, the highest is up to 5,500 m. The altitudinal distribution provides an opportunity to investigate the evolution of tits and their adaptations to high-altitude environments on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
